So much to do...so little time...

We just got back from a wonderful vacation in Europe. This time we visited Dublin, Prague, Munich, and Venice. We have some pictures posted on a flickr account:

I will warn you that I think there are almost 2,000 of them...we take a lot of pictures on vacation!

Things have been really crazy the last month. I spent 5 nights at school for my improvisation class, came home for two days to work and pack, then left for our 16-day adventure. We are just now getting over our jet-lag and putting our house back together. I also took a supplemental position at Deaconess Crosspointe to be an activity therapist on the child/adolescent unit, though I will also be doing occasional groups on the adult unit. I am doing my physical, TB test, drug testing, etc. this week, and then I start my orientation on Monday. It should be interesting. I have always wanted to work in psych, so I'm really excited to start.

I also received news last week that the BDDS office approved my proposal to be a waiver provider and was sent on to the CRFC board. Yesterday, I found out that my proposal was approved, so I am now ready for the next phase of the process. I am hoping that by the end of the summer, I will be able to start seeing clients through the state's waiver program.

I have also been busy trying to get a shower and bachelorette party together for my friend Holly who is getting married in October. Since I am the Matron of Honor, I guess that responsibility falls to me;) In addition to that, I am going to be the President of the Sigma Alpha Iota alumnae chapter this year, so I have to start preparing for my big meeting with my exec board next week so that we can plan the year.

When I get a chance, I will post more about our trip!
